Are you serious? They are in contact with their customers more frequently during times like these. I think they are fully cognizant of the global economic issues facing them.

Chips must be produced if demand is there. AMAT makes equipment which by and large cannot be bought from Japanese suppliers. Either they come up with the $$ or a competitor is a benefactor of their market share. Too much time is spent wringing your hands over where the Yen will be a year from now. Buy the Big 4(INTC, MSFT, AMAT, CSCO) during time of weakness and close your eyes.
