I have been taken to task recently by some posters for "taking the bait" and "performing his DD for him". I plead guilty! My naivete has shown through. I actually thought it was possible to take the "discussion" up a few notches. Talk about the issues. I was woefully wrong!
However, we still have the matter of what I call "The World Is Flat" theory. I have postulated that the average person is really not very intelligent. If you tell the average person repeatedly that the world is flat...and you get others to tell him likewise...and no one is there to contradict what you are saying...shortly, that person will actually BELIEVE the world is flat! The press is constantly proving my theory.
What does my theory have to do with the price of rice in China? If myself and...say...three or four other posters on this thread started...um, let me think...I know...posting "evidence" that Gary is an alien on this thread, and we did it relentlessly, relying on vagaries without addressing points by others except only to attack them, soon people would start believing (does this sound at all like the tactics of a certain administration's?)! If our postings continued unchecked, soon, our conspiracy theory would lead to others. People would start to panic and begin to sell!
I've thought about this...this isn't a bad thing! I am a firm believer that, in the end, truth (usually) wins out. Therefore, I will return to viewing the innuendo as catalyst for opportunity. I will take advantage of that opportunity to accumulate additional shares (as I did on Tuesday). I will continue to perform DD...but only for myself...and on my terms. I will share that DD on this board...again, on my terms.
As I said, I'm truly sorry I was not able to take this "debate" to a higher plane. I guess maybe I do have a fat head...I really thought I could make a difference.
My invitation still stands, however. If there is anyone out there who is skeptical about this stock, but is open minded and would like to engage in rational discourse about its merits, I would like to hear from you.
