My goodness ! .05 per share ! that would be .05 * 500,000,000 (approx), or... $25,000,000. Les wins PowerBall !!

Re: Les going to Perot. Ross will ask him, but I doubt Les will go there. He took it personally when Ross started Perot Systems, esp since Ross aimed PSC right at EDS. Mort took several years off after leaving EDS before returning to an executive role (he chaired the Dallas Symphony, advised Michael Dell, invested, advised, etc.). I would guess we'll see Les at his ranch for awhile, then see him heavily engaged in education issues in Texas and nationally, as this has been his focal point while with EDS (indeed, the priority community activity from EDS has been education: education outreach programs, the Jason Projet, Smithsonian, school partnerships, tutoring, etc... quite successful, and low-key... like Les).

Speculation on replacement: outside is great; look to either someone from Europe or from the military. Europe because the growth for EDS will be outside the US and someone from Europe brings the relationships EDS needs to be more successful there; military because Dick Cheney is on the board of directors and can reach into that community and grab someone like Colin Powell (wild speculation on my part, only) or Creech (former Air Force chief of staff.. you saw his work on CNN during the Gulf War).
