CTC,

Yes, I am both laughing and crying. Also, hoping that CPQ stock runs up enough so I can short it and makes some money this fall.

I just can not stop marveling about how CPQ gets away with the same PR tactics over and over again and the dumb CPQ investors lap it up. They sell to the channel and then claim low inventories in the channel. They do not talk about their internal inventories which are a key measure of their operational efficiency. 6 to 7 weeks of internal inventory is not good.

I have a rule that I do not invest in any company whose management lies to the investors. However, I do exploit these these companies by trading the stock at opportune times.

If you listen to EM and EP you will soon know that CPQ is everything that DELL is and then some. But if you look at their financial statements you will soon realize that their operations expenses are much greater than DELL's.

Ignorance can be remedied but DUMB is forever!
