A note to the on-line trading community: Regular readers of this thread are aware that a customer of Web Street has chosen to embark on a vendetta against Web Street over a customer dispute, all of which we take seriously and seek to address promptly. We are satisfied that we have treated that customer's $100.00 issue fairly (an issue, by the way, that would have been resolved to the customer's satisfaction had the customer not "jumped down the throat" of our customer service reprsentative before he had an opportunity to fully look into the complaint). While we don't suggest that we always bat 1000%, Web Street has succeeded in recieving the highest rankings and reviews because our employees come to work every day committed to our customers' satisfaction with our company and its services; and to be sure, none of our employees deserves - and we will not stand for -- repeated vituperative and defamatory comments about our company and our employees. To let SI members know of our commitment to customer satisfaction, we are offering any OTHER silicon investor member who becomes a new customer of Web Street a $100 commision credit upon the opening of a new account by August 15, 1998.
