Thanks Moons, the table is a good one. Now I can
show them what 2002 will be 7% Cable modems
3% xDSL...Boy, this is worse than I imagined. It possibly
can't be right. Remember AT&T plans on buying TCI for
Cable Modem operations. If that table is true, then
AT&T will loose some big $$.

btw...did you hear the RBOCs will be allowed to deregulate
their xDSL service. This seems to their advantage and may
give them more incentive to get xDSL going. I still
think they will procrastinate some more.

I had seen that quote by " Neil Clemmons, Vice President of Consumer Marketing for 3Com", but since he has a biased opinion, I wasn't
sure I could believe it totally.

I think Cable and xDSL will come sooner than that chart, but
something new will have to come into the equation. Some
big alliance maybe...or some entity with a lot of muscle
may force it to work.

Anybody think we'll break 28 today?
