Spoke with the controller at our company (CPA). He referred to the charge as "accounting voodoo", and that the charge was not material to he valuation. What is significant is the revenue stream going forward. Once a deal is cut, the cash is gone. Then it is just a matter of reporting preference. Hopefully someone else will put forth some input on this subject. So far stock is up!
