Final nail in SaRCasM's coffin? Terayon, a CSCO backed Synchronous CDMA Cable Modem company is in registration for an IPO, for pricing next week. Terayon Communication Systems is being taken out by Alex Brown (a real tech underwriter). It's venture backers include Sequoia, Weiss, Peck & Greer and Walden (all real venture capital firms). Can you say 14 megabits per seconds, both ways? CSCO (you've have heard of them haven't you?) owns a ton of stock & will own 7% post IPO, has a first right of refusal to BUY the company.
