Although I do not deny that the downside is here and could get quite bad, the numbers shown is not a fair comparison and seems to be selected to fit the presentation. For example, 1987 crash was followed by significant short-term recovery so using 34 days will not show the amount of fall (in any case, neither the number of days not the % fall is constant so it is not a scientific comparison).
