Fred,

If you look down the misc medical section here on SI and find
Trinity Biotech, you'll see a suggestion I've made for them to
develop a test for mad cow disease. They have a very low cost,
simple, one step, read results fast technology they call UniGold
which they are using for test for HIV, Hepatitus B, heart attack,
H pylori, and many other conditions. They are headquartered in
Dublin with some US operations. I don't know if they have looked
at this application of their tecnology but it would seem to be
suitable. Their is quite a following of this stock as you can read.
