David,

Fact is, they never did resolve that credit with me. John Wiett hung up on me. Joe Fox never returned my call. After a week of no response, I went public with it here. I emailed a copy of my first note to Fox. Still nothing.

When I found additional erroneous charges had been made to my account, I called Sherri Smith on Wed. I haven't heard back from her yet about the $100 credit though she said she would credit the "research" fees.

I assume that the note from Jon means I will not get the credit at all (no surprise to me) but they will vindicitively offer the credit honorably owed me, dishonorably to anyone else who uses SI's name. Nice for SI, but clearly a vindictive and unprofessional kind of behavior.

TThey never had the courtesy to resolve the matter with me. Ryan lied to John Wiett in saying he'd never promised me the credit, and then John Wiett hung up on me saying I'd "never" get the credit. I assume that Jon's comments here mean that they won't give me the promised credit. Brokerages are supposed to be bound by their word. We operate on that basis when we deal with brokers. They aren't going to give me the credit Ryan promised on tape, because they're mad at me for going public about this?

That's fair proof of the unprofessional quality of this firm. I've been dealing with brokerage more years than I'd like to admit, and I've never seen a firm as unprofessional as this one.

That vindictive little note (they'll give anyone $100 commision credit but me, when I was the one who suffered the $100 loss due to their errors!) was written by their VP, no less! Can you believe it?

Linda
