Henry, You are incorrect about the commandment, thou shalt not kill. The correct translation is thou shalt not murder. I think you must be morally bankrupt to just shrug off the desperate situation of the defenseless unborn and then in the same post you defend murderers. You said: <<The rapist of children does not go unpunished if society refrains from killing him. God will punish him.>> Society has to defend itself from these predators. Do you just think we should let everyone run wild and let God punish them in due time? Does the little girl deserve protection or not?? Do the unborn?? Authority is established by God to keep order and executing a murderer is in the scope of the law in God's eyes. What do you think about stoning to death homosexuals, adulterers and unruly children. That was also in the law of moses. So I don't think you can make a case that God doesn't want us to execute murderers. Bob
