The IDC report is only for UNIX server shipments. It is not about Non UNIX Servers and Workstations. And clear and simple it is: Sun shipped more UNIX servers than any other vendor. Another thing, HP's unit shipments did not grow as fast as that of Sun. They moved up onIBM because IBM floundered. Sun had more newer accounts, more contract renewals than HP. Rauf
