John, Shopper Mike wants more details on your new toy. Is the QCP-1920 single mode so it just doesn't kick to some heathen system when you're in Fairbanks Ranch? [nice neighborhood, BTW. Went to a few shindigs in Rancho Santa Fe when I officed in La Jolla--a slum area it is not. God almighty, some of those houses are just giganticon.] Anyway, I have to buy one of the damn things pretty soon but I want one that keeps me in touch anywhere even if it means that it roams to the dark forces' network. For $17/mo, I might get over it though :) The rest of the guys on this thread have me buying the mother of all UPS machines which makes the house payment questionable this month, so if I could save a few stones on the phone it would help. best, mike doyle
