Rudedog, you're not correct about the DELL Dimension and OptiPlex lines. The Dimension is the power-based/stand alone unit, and the OptiPlex is the network-ready PC. I don't know enough about Compaq's PC lines to be sure that my comparisons are accurate, and I've never questioned the quality of their product.

My problem, again, lies with the business model. That's why (primarily) I don't like CPQ as much as DELL.
