The snippet you provide is correct as far as the analysts being spooked. Many of them in my opinion are afraid of their own shadow and simply react rather than think.

For Chamber's to say that CSCO will face a challenge in the IP market due to NT and LU is a statement of the obvious to anyone that has a clue to what is going on in this area. One can only think that the analysts would prefer Chamber's to say that NT and LU are not a challenge and they will control the market within 12 months.

What the analyst should do is make their own assessment and think.

With a multibillion dollar market emerging perhaps the food chain will support many players?

Perhaps the analysts should consider that it is just this "challenge" that provides one of the greatest opportunities in the first 25 years of the 21st century?

Bottom line, take what the analysts say with a grain of salt.
