Is the Cringe on a anti-iMAC binge ? Let's pop a Cork to truth El Cringo has a problem with reality beginning with the fact that the original "Cringe" was a woman but now its "faulty" iMAC production. Only 5,000 iMACs made to date ? Why did AAPL go to 3 shifts at Sacto and hire 400 temps - what about Singapore , Cork ? Plus 10 % faulty ? Well Cringe here's some info from Cork's Joe Gantly , AAPL's man in charge: " With iMac, he said, "we like to think we have a well-engineered product". And that was about as much as he would say on Apple's thoughts about its latest, and probably most significant product since the launch of the original Macintosh back in 1984. "The iMac is a very exciting product and very feature rich at the price level," he said. Beyond that, well, "this is a very good time to be with Apple. Having had a few hard years it's great to be facing into something that will be good." it.fairfax.com.au Another question would be how did the Cringe get his info when Mr Gantly proudly states about iMAC production : " But precisely how it will be handled "and how we ramp it up - that's information we are keeping very tight," Jim K.
