Don, good news this week... but only a precursor to what will be in 3 to 6 months. I still think this is a temporary bounce and that there is still more downside before the small caps get their legs.

What Ralph Accampora said this week makes sense to me and I wouldn't write his views off yet. Why should the small caps take off now? Yes they have been depressed but we haven't seen any hard numbers showing a turn around yet. Yes it looks like we had a bottom and usually that bottom needs to be tested and we need to have a double bottom.

I think what happened this week, though confirms that by year end the rally will start for real... unless Asia keeps on being worse than expected. However it looks like Japan is serious of putting in tax cuts and that will be great and I think it would be viewed as the start of the turn in Asia.

I was glad to see SFLX and AFLX be among the big movers. It doesn't surprise me that investors feel these companies will benefit early by any turn around.
