EQ (do you mind that I keep calling you EQ? I just borrowed the music/electronics industry abbreviation) -- I'm not currently receiving Level II data because I haven't been day- or swing-trading listed NASDAQ issues in many months. I only get the OTC-BB MMs, which MOST data providers only provide as a subpart of their Level II packages. But, strangely enough, the very inexpensive Track Online service provides real-time BB MM pricing at no incremental charge over their basic package, with no Level II fees, so I supplement my normal Bloomberg use with TOL for this purpose.
You're right, of course, about sales/revenues being the only thing that matters, roughly from this point on (that is, unless they can position the company as an Internet play, in which case a complete lack of revenues might be only a minor impediment for at least a year or two [g] ). I believe Avalon already has some top-notch, dynamic salesmen on the team. To start closing major sales on a consistent basis, it seems to me that all the company needs is a little more credibility. That's where the search for strategic partners come in. A couple of alliances with large multinational companies for use of synergistic technology, manufacturing, marketing, etc., should do the trick, don't you think?. |
