Maybe CREAF should give us all a SBLive for all that lost say 25% or more? <I'm green with envy mike> : ).
Chris wrote back to me and I think he was a little scared to come on this tread... I know he can't say anything about the stock and thought that part of his mail was a little "lame" since all I asked for was Product questions answered which would have been a nice touch, I DIDN'T ask for inside info(hey chris fax me TOP SECRET docs OK). Since many investors don't have all the info about the SBLive specs (I don't)and other CREAF products. I know I have waited 2 weeks some times just to get a simple question answer from CREAF support about the specs of a product as well as question about the SBL. I also think if Etrade can run through this site (SI) and can help people with NON stock issues so can CREAF and Etrade called me last year just hours after I posted to set things right.
I also like the quote at the bottom "Our investor relations department and I are working together to better understand what communication they would like to have between Creative and the Internet-using investment community." ...? Well if you CAN'T talk to us about what your selling right NOW then what communication is CREAF going to have? Talk about the weather maybe? Or how about a CREAF GOOD thought of the day? : ) I uderstand why he can't but its still a shame since all I was asking was what he is doing on the newsgroups now. I would much rather not go into the newsgroups and have to read much junk info just to find answers to my questions from NON CREAF people.
The question I have for the SBL which will go UNanswered for weeks! Is can it play more than 8 3D chans of audio? If so can this be done in software or will a new card be needed? Since many gamers are going to be looking at this spec for which card is faster and better for games when matched up with A3D 2.0 haveing 16 chans. And will having 2 SBLs give you more chans of 3d? what is the SLI mode used for and is it going to need a game coded for it to work if at all? ----------------------
Hi, Adam, You should feel free to pass this response along, if you like. My purpose at the moment is to answer questions about our products and policies, and I'm sure you understand I can't comment on the stock price or speculate about earnings, future performance, or other financial information. Given that, I'm not sure it makes sense for me to join the existing CREAF threads at Silicon Investor or Yahoo, since neither is a tech-support-oriented forum. :-) Our investor relations department and I are working together to better understand what communication they would like to have between Creative and the Internet-using investment community. I hope this makes it clear I'm not trying to snub you all, but there are many more issues in speaking with investors than there are in answering tech support and other product-related questions on usenet. Even a delay in answering could be taken to mean something it doesn't. With the launch of the Sound Blaster Live! product I have been quite busy, but you should all feel free to send email to me at chriso@creativelabs.com, or our Investor Relations Manager, Lisa Laymon at llaymon@creativelabs.com. Chris Owens Creative Labs, Inc. --------------------------- "Even a delay in answering could be taken to mean something it doesn't." Your right it may just hurt the stock and drop it to 9.75 <G> boy o boy i'd hate to see it fall from where its at now in the mid 20's on a late comment on SI. : ) That would really KILL the stock... I'm sure glad it didn't happen like that <big G> ; )
I'm just having fun now sorry : ) Adam- |
