Yes, I have heard several times of Web TV radio advertisements in Los Angeles. A lady emailed her colledge son by hooking up WebTV to TV hereself. It is an excellent commercial. I like it!

The WebTV is currently being marketed by Phillips and Sony. Fry's started to demo and sell Sony version sometime one month ago. The box is designed elegantly. As I said, GX based Network Computer could be designed in such a way that people would rather to have them at home rather than the ugerly PC box that we all are using.

Taiwan ECS is developping a so-called $199 "Top of Box" by using the aged 386 chip. The idea of this "Top of Box" is aimed at school kids for educational purpose. They called it as "student Computer". I do not have further information about it. However, with $199 pricing, they could sell dozen millions pcs. easily in the 3rd world. The budged and funtions meets the needs of these people. In orient, people are crazy to help their young generation on education for brigher future. They would look at $199-$499 Student Computer as an educational tool, and would buy it for kids when they have enough cash either from savings or loan from relatives. Could you image how big the market is?

I have been very dispointed at "no replies from Cyrix". As complained before, Cyrix has been run by technicians, not by businessmen. I hope that the new CEO and the new BOARD would consider to license GX86 as my suggestions. Otherwise, I would have to take the buyout deal :((

Fuchi ... who loves Cyrix's innovations
