"The tape" most certainly does lie. In fact this is quite common on the VSE. Usually as a result of promotion. Investors look for undervalued opportunities. One needs to understand a company to assess its value. This requires some knowledge, intelligence, and a little work. There are lots of traders around who follow promoters or trends. Typically, not doing a lot of due diligence. I would not argue that one approach is superior to the other. However, the latter is no doubt responsible for wild price swings as in the case of Nortran. Some time ago you listed who you believed were the top 5 biotech analysts in Canada. Call them about Nortran, you will be surprised.
