Steve,

I suggest you send an e-mail request to Quidel's investor relations for information on Quidel's warrants. Check Quidel's home page for the address link.

The warrants trade OTC just like common stock.

Basically, each share of QDELW entitles its holder to purchase one share of QDEL for $7.50 at any time from now until 30 April 2002. Your cost for each QDEL will then be whatever you paid for the QDELW plus $7.50. QDELW is worthless after 30 April 2002.

In my opinion, QDELW is a great buy at $2.00.

Mike
