Anyone get the feeling that we have gone too far too fast in the past few days. With option expirations 6 trading days away, I suspect that the action that we saw in the last half hour today will repeat itself, probably bring intel to the 125 to 127 level to unwind the high number of dec 125 and 130 call options.

This is just my opinion and I could be wrong but time will tell. Also $9/share for 1997 seems excessive if you ask me. Could you imagine if indeed pc sales are sluggish this holiday season and inventories are high in the 1st quarter of 97. If this is what unfolds then, a major selloff in intel would be in order, probably accompanied by downward revisions...Remember that excessive buying and selling always occurs at the top and bottoms of stocks, respectively.
