dj-- are these people daft...within 10% of a record low on MU? great report in some ways, and terrible in others. of course they fail to mention some of the good names, like VLSI for one. but was good to see TXN and VTSS mentioned. one caveat on VTSS...IBM is going after GaAs companies with their new process technology. i am still trying to puzzle out the upgrading AMD and INTC thing. i agree they will do well, but analysts are going to have to get out of the old INTC is god kind of thinking that is still prevalent. in a year or two INTCs premium is going to evaporate. i think AMD is cheap at these prices, especially if someone shoots jerry sanders<G>. but i dont think INTC is real cheap, especially since their stock price reflects premiums they get on x86 processors. just MHO. good luck to all, trey
