Partner current pricing on spot looks like this--------- 1x4-----1.50-1.70 1x16----5.95-6.95 4x4-----7.00-8.00 At one time the leaders were hyundai/goldstar in driving lower prices but now even the Japanese and Samsung have gotten in the act. I will say this the simm module guys seem to be pretty busy building upgrades but the factory level{cpq,ibm,hp etc.}has probably let up a bit,causing excess inventory at the dram mfgers.
