[conference call misc questions] hi kevin, was out of town and missed the last dspg cc.. am reviewing the results and have a couple of questions for you when you have the time... noticed that licensing/royalties increased from $2.27 million in q1 to $3.7 million in this last qtr, was any detail given? would guess that the bulk of this was upfront payments from sony and oki, but maybe some product recurring revenues as well? seems like these should be kicking in any qtr now... any news on palm/teak... maybe update on xemics sa (switzerland) low voltage technology? last cc noted that palm may be released this year? update on tad business? update on competition? timing for porting of teak to 1 volt? last cc noted between 3 and 6 mo... any update on the handsfree voice activation chip? last cc it was mentioned that maybe big volume before the end of the year? any mention of xdsl? any and all info appreciated fwiw we have a cable modem in our house (the kid has it)... he says that best connections are about 1.5 Mbps, but typically less than 100kbps... server constrained.. but his download times are many times faster than mine.. i use a 56k modem but it runs much slower.. probably due to many factors, not the least of which might be a bottleneck at the isp... on his machine SI pages come up just about instantaneously.. can't say the same for my connection .. good luck with the adsl .. let us know what you think .. our cable deal includes unlimited downloads.. the "500mb transfer a month, then an extra fee for the next 500" sounds like it could add up... the kid says he exceeds this many times over.. good luck s
