Anecdotal evidence of DRAM trend:

A month ago, Frys was selling 32Meg (a pair of 60 nanosec 72 pin 4X32 SIMMs) for $28.

Today Frys advertises this same offer for $24.95, limit one pair per customer.

Of course 16Meg chips are reaching end of marketable life and this inventory has to be moved now or written off soon since the 64Meg products are now primary. But the basic thesis that DRAM overcapacity remains the issue of the day. No significant capacity capitulation yet seen inspite of the recent upturn of small cap tech and semis. The dance continues.
