Ron... I agree with you about the need for analyst's and research, but the fact is that the small-cap arena is simply dead money. Money is flowing out at an alarming rate and makes one wonder if you should own ANY small-cap stocks at present. Put yourself in the shoes of all small-cap CEO's that are watching their stocks fall even with some good earnings news. This is not a good trend where the rich, (MSFT, CSCO, DELL, LU, AMZN, YHOO) and a few more, attract the lion's share of the investment dollars. As a small-cap CEO, your only hope is to sell your company to one of these guys to achieve shareholder value. This in turn makes them richer etc, etc.There are seemingly great values on the small-cap front... but are they really values or is something afoot here that has yet to be recognized. Whatever the case, I do not like the trend and am going to stay out of the way.
