Hello John Mc.

Just read your message. I wish I was in CA right now. I am in northern Vermont and we got 18" of the *** /#* white stuff two days ago. Temp is about 30 deg, not so bad for this time of year.
I am a real estate appraiser and also have my offices in my house. I also teach real estate appraisal courses all along the eastern seaboard. I also teach Karate two nights each week. Have been doing so for 35 years. I am just about to be 53. Have 3 children, the youngest of which is 21 and will be the only visiting for xmas. We live in an older but restored house built in 1868 and it takes a lot of our time keeping it in shape.

I was born in Montreal and my wife in Vancouver. We met in the YUKON where we lived for 10 years. This is where I started investing in the gold and silver mines as I owned a company that supplied the placer miners with their industrial supplies. I have been present when the sluce matts were opened and the gold picked out. What a rush. (no pun intended). I still have some contacts up there and can get a limited amount of info if you ever need it. My only play in that area now is Almanden, their diamond exploration in the Northwest Territories which borders the Yukon.

I see AGO dropped again today. What a drag! but we must have patience as we discussed earlier. The whole market is not looking that good but regardless, we can make money if we still stick to the basics of gold stock investing and look for the fundamental things that make a good company. You might try reading ASK MAX sometime. You will fine him in the SI general groups. He is a friend of mine who realy knows the stocks and will help you out if you ask him. A really good fellow.

Max is not his real name. He is actually Ron.

Hope this is good info for you.
Talk to you in the next few days.
Nothing to report from Nat.Sec today.

Hang in there, Steve.

By the way I will watch for your son. I have a couple of my Karate students who are in some new B type movies right now. Big market for there services as stunt men.
