At least I know that HP does have some edge. Anyway I just try to be a short term trader and I will stay short HP if the recent low 51 1/8 is broken and will cover if HP can close above 55 before the earning announcement. Simple and straight. No need to understand too much about HP's business: server, workstations....... Too complicated.
