That's almost certainly incorrect...
a - The sun is not believed to have sufficient mass to go nova.
b - A supernova could not consume all our atoms collectively... large numbers of particles would be spread radially outwards from the star in roughly their existing form.
c - The development of any degree of intersteller travel over the course of the next say 10,000-100,000 years would preclude the destruction of human or human derived civilization in one cataclysmic event.

Long term, depending on whether the universe will collapse back into itself or not, you'd see either the recompression of all mass in the universe back into it's pre-expansion state, or entropic doom which would consist of a universe with constant composition and a temperature ~0K.
