Do you disagree that patterns approaching head and shoulders tops, if completed, tend to lead to a sell off? Do you disagree that patterns approaching head and shoulders bottoms tend to lead to a rally? Do you disagree that sideways price action within ascending triangles tends to break out to the upside and within descending triangles tends to break out to the down side?

This is repeatable stuff, my friend...

As for asking pundits which way the market will go, I agree no one really knows. But they all have opinions, and since this is hardly an exact science, why not get 'em all?

Since many viewers DO place their faith in these folks, we put them on the air. Listening to Joe Battipaglia argue with Bill Fleckenstein over which way the market will go, each sustantiating his point of view, makes for good TV and provides viewers with some frames of reference. You, of course, are free to watch them and then ignore them.
