Bearishness, like bullishness, gets overdone. As Soros has said, "The market is always wrong."

The challenge is merely to accurately determine in which direction early enough to profit.

In any case, we should all remember that without both Bears and Bulls, there wouldn't be anyone to sell / buy at a price both parties find attractive.
