I would like to thank everyone who attended our annual shareholder meeting a few weeks ago. For those of you who were not able to be in attendance, all of the resolutions detailed in the proxy were approved.
USA Technologies is extremely excited with the recent announcement of a milestone contract that ranks as the largest in the company's history. After a very successful multiple location pilot, the MBE Business Express joint venture finalized an agreement with Prime Hospitality Corp. whereby Prime will purchase 100 MBE Business Express centers for installation in it AmeriSuites properties. The deal - valued at approximately $2 million - will establish MBE Business Express as a brand standard at all of the AmeriSuites properties. And just as a reminder, those 100 units translate into revenues for USA in three ways - profits from equipment sales, credit card processing, and on-going service fees. The business centers that will be installed at AmeriSuites locations will feature our new and improved Laptop Express. Targeted specifically to the rapidly growing population of laptop carriers, the Laptop Express provides the existing print station as well as a dataport and telephone, including hotlines to both the nearest Mail Boxes, Etc. location for additional services, as well as IBM for technical support. The Laptop Express is an addition to the existing product line and will also be offered as a stand alone product.
