Fourteen months ago, many people were trumpeting the all-powerful 166 and 200 MHz K6's - pooh-poohing the "much too powerful-who-needs-that-speed" 233 and 266 Mhz Pentium II's and the "never-will-be-manufacturable-but-announced" Pentium II 300 MHz.

Fred was right.

Check AMD's processor offerings for 166, 200 and 233 MHz parts.

The world wanted faster devices - and they got them.

The world will continue to demand faster processors.

And they will get them.
