Bill,

How's the parking lot at the factory these days??

Just was polling one of my contacts, and they say that
the newer lines/building in fremont are running at
75% right now. And the old lines are also running.
Im not sure but believe they have 4 of the newer
lines and are only running 3... something to that
affect.

I also was told that the main dd factories running here
are IBM (especially the head lines), SEG is really
cranking and so is WDC. RDRT is in bad shape,
especially with IBM ramping up heads and supplying WDC.
Cant be good for APM either. On the platter side, SEG is
supplying 80% internally, especially bad for KMAG, not
great for HMTT. HMTT having much better product than
KMAG puts them in a much better position to weather
this storm.

Also was theorized that in this slowness, HMTT could completely
shutdown the old less efficient lines if they ramped up the new
lines to 100%. Then they could gut it and put in new
lines in the original building. (this all assumes they
have the cash to upgrade the lines).
