Dirk: Thanks for your post-very helpful. I was considering purchasing the PII 300 but after reading subsequent postings here on this thread I'm thinking the Celeron would be a better choice. What I've read so far about overclocking the Celeron has been w/the 266 to 400 MHz but what about the Celeron 300 or the newer 300 w/128 L2 cache? I would think the same logic would apply but you could get even much faster speeds w/the newer L2 cache. Would you care to guess what stable speeds would be likely w/either the 300 or 300 w/L2? I just purchased the new Abit BH6 which has even more choices for overclockers in both voltages and FSB.
