As she began to lick her plate she noticed hoof scratches all over it. "Figuuuuurrres!", she intoned to herself. (Now why was that deaf mute staring at her? and how did she know he was a deaf mute?). For thaaaaat matter...why are people always deaf and dumb? why not deaf or dumb? Suddenly she became aware that every single one of her senses HAD BECOME CUTE. EVEN HER PROPRIOCEPTIVE SENSE. SHE COULD HEAR THE MELODIOUS AND MELLIFLUOUS STRAINS OF THE PAN PIPES APPROACHING FROM OUT OF THE DISTANCE. CLOSER AND CLOSER THEY CAME...AND CLOSER STILL. EVERY SCRATCH ON HER PLATE SEEMED TO COME TO THE FOREGROUND LIKE SOME GIGANTIC CHASM OR SCHISM...SHE WAS NOT SURE WHICH? ...SHE CONTINUED LICKING HER PLATE. "HEY! WHERE WAS APOLLO!!"...
