Making us the toys of what sort of entity? Maybe that is the meaning of life afterall. We humans are simply a plaything for a sadistic supreme being. Sorta like Jim Carrey in Truman. All just a game, some of us winners, some of us losers, and "god" is the dealer/director. I wonder who/what the audience is? Angels? Maybe it's those elusive poltergeists. Who was Gene Rodenberry anyway? Don't tell me it's little white mice.
