I look at the meaning of life as two fold. The first being biological the second being spiritual.

Biologically speaking it is an obligation to see your genes passed on into future generations. Biologically we seek God or should I say to become God. My theory is that man will evolve into a God someday.

Spiritually, the quest for god is the meaning for life. To know God or discover God is the meaning. Not understand, not worship, not ritual, but merely to know, then emulate.
Some day, when it's all over, you might have to face your maker and explain yourself. I would like to stand tall and claim I did the best I could with the cards that were dealt me.

Finally, I must admit that we might live in universe void of God. Or at least that the universe cares little for this "sliding second we share" and that we are just chemical clocks.

I am prepared for all three.
