To all WT investors:
I've been a Westfort investor for closer to a year now. I have exactly 60,000 shares that were purchased between the the price of $0.46 to $0.62, which could of equaled to a nice heafty profit of over $200,000, when it had reached its peak price of $3.95, back a few months ago. But did I sell ------ NO! Am I upset that I didn't sell ----- again NO!
When I first purchased Westfort, I learned everything that was needed to know about the company, from my broker and from Whitney himself from Westfort because I had a chance to speak with him in person when he came to Toronto for a few days back in late 1997. And from that day on I knew I was a long-term investor, but don't get me wrong, I wasn't planning to hold on to the stock for 5-10 years. Only long enough for the company to get established as a oil producer, in other words a "money-maker", which I perceive it to be about another year.
Sure I could of made a bundle of cash, by trading the stock. But I just don't have the stomach for that, just in case I have sold all my shares and missed the big jump in the price of the stock. Listen I know this stock has great potential, and it will make me a lot of money, but there are things that are bothering me, and I will explain.
First of all, there are too many promoters on this thread, saying that with the new NR, the stock will trade a lot higher, so you better get in while you can. Or, in response to this post, the stock will not go any lower than $1.65 however in the near-term. The person that did right that post should feel like quite a fool, as the price of Westfort did dip to $1.20 back on Friday. Listen we as investors have are promoters, and they are the Genesis group and as well as our own brokers. So enoughs enough, could we please just point out the facts in our new posts, and not a bunch of jargon!!
The last thing that is bothering me is that I feel the Genesis Group has kind of been fading away in their duties as for promoting Westfort. They did a hell of a job when they were first hired by Westfort, but since then it has been going down hill. Now, we all know the facts about Westfort are outstanding, but facts alone are not going to drive the stock price up, only promoting and hyping the stock will and the only people that can do that are the big boys, which are the Genesis Group and the brokers that like the stock themselves. It might be a good choice for Westfort to hire another new promoter to get some new blood in and juice up the stock, because we all know that Westfort sure deserves it as well as all the investors.
That is my say for now. I will respond to anyone's post that is toward's mine ----tomorrow. For now I'm going to sleep.
P.S. By the way i'm neither a promoter or a broker, just a labourer and an eager investor in market.
