Could you please elaborate on your concept of "shareholder value"? In
my way of thinking in our current circumstance I can come up with only
two ways of enhancing shareholder value:

1. The generation of profits to be distributed among the shareholders.

2. The strategic deployment and implementaion of specific strategies
for the purpose of enhanching shareholder value.

In the first case the company is focused on successfull marketing of
products and services. Only these elements are capable, in any company,
of generating the revenues sufficient to create profit.

In the second case, public relations firms are often hired to help
develop and implement effective strategies which can result in enhanced
shareholder value.

Do you see another way to enhance shareholder value than these two, Mr.
Rand?
