NEW YORK, Aug 10 (Reuters) - Morgan Stanley Dean Witter
said Monday that it raised its rating on EchoStar
Communications Corp. (NASDAQ:DISH) to strong buy from neutral.
-- EchoStar last week reported that second quarter losses
had narrowed to $1.21 a share from $1.54 a share reported in
the 1997 second quarter.
-- EchoStar shares closed Friday at 26-2/16.
