X-Ray: I would be happy to see it available in colors but I think for Apple to offer it in choices now, goes exactly against the simplification for which Steve Jobs has been striving. I don't know what BTO and JIT are, and I'm sure you have great ideas about how to do this, but I know that it can't be done without compounding headaches for Apple in fulfillment problems and increasing costs tremendously to track these, keep the right amounts available, and it's much more expensive to mfr smaller numbers. As much as I am in favor of choice, I'm not in favor of Apple getting into just the sort of problems that confused the marketplace before. Some people will spend more time deciding which color than which computer. It bogs down the pipeline. As a consumer I want it, but as a stockholder I don't. Linda
