For one thing I wouldn,t quote any thing out of James as being for the Church of God during this dispensation of grace. Many follow the "great commission" but they are in fact, in error.
Our commission in this age of grace is to be reconciled to God and to tell others that we must be justified thru Jesus Christ so that we may become reconciled to God. Go into all the world? A Jewish command.
Be reconciled? Our great commission.
"16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.
17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
1 Cor. 5:16-18
"8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Eph. 2:8-10
