RE: The Microsoft Insider Sales

Does anybody know if this type of sale is normal for these two guys, or is this one special? Every few months, Gates and Allen sell of a couple of million shares and people make a big hue and cry about it. But they still have hundreds of millions of shares (half a billion shares in Bill's case). Anecdotally, this one does seem a little larger than usual. Anybody care to speculate on the reasons behind it? My personal opinion is that it's not so much that they think MSFT has reached a top, because they could have sold off earlier. Rather, they see a bunch of other stocks that have gotten hammered and want to raise some cash to buy them. But these guys are billionaires, hardly the type to have to liquidate MSFT to raise cash to buy CA or whatever (I doubt they've ever faced a margin call). Then again maybe it's just that now is the window for selling and it's nothing more than that. Would appreciate any info/opinion/lunatic raving on this subject. Thanks.
