Don't go so fast Cruiser...! I just read on Kiplinger's (Sep. 98, page 72) that according to Mario Gabelli (Gabelli Asset Fund) a long time Telecom follower, mergers involving big names are far from over. kiplinger.com , but the article not posted. The list of big names are BCE (BCE, parent of Bell Canada and Nortel) British Telecom (BTY), and GTE (GTE). Among smaller companies, the takover targets are Frontier(FRO), Rogers Cantel Mobile Communications (RCN). Seems like merger deals not done yet, so enjoy the ride... All: Another company is using "BAY" ticker in Europe what's the name of this famous company?
