Robert,

Thanks for pointing the Infoworld news. Wow! A notebook version of 6x86 at 166Mhz?

=================================================================
Cyrix will be introducing notebook versions of its 6x86 Pentium-class processor in the first quarter of 1997 in 150-MHz and 166-MHz performance versions, said Tobak. Also in the first quarter, Cyrix will be introducing 120-MHz and 133-MHz versions of its highly-integrated Gx86 processor for low-end and midrange applications.
=================================================================

I am running the burn-in of an overclocked Cyrix 6x86-166Mhz. Do you have any idea how FAST of this chip at 166Mhz? To use a Cyrix 6x86 166Mhz (not P166+) on notebooks? Corporation users would fight for it! Power to the people!

GX86 in 120Mhz and 133Mhz would be available in the first quarter. That's the first one of the coming good news that we have been awaiting for.

Fuchi ... who loves Cyrix's innovations
