Tony, I wouldn't put a lot of faith in that mgmt denial. When I was with Legent in April 1995, a rumor started that we were going to be bought by CA. Mgmt denied it in the stongest terms, in publicly posted bulletins and email. I believed them. Then in May, the acquisition was announced. Mgmt can't spill the beans, even to employees, without putting the deal or their jobs in jeopardy - it's just that simple. So when it comes to mergers, with corporate officers as with sluts, yes means yes and anything else means maybe.

Having said that, I don't think there is any buyout in the works either.
